Home Fit UK

Home Fit UK is a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom supplier basin in Yorkshire, offering services around the UK.

After movement into their new, bespoke built showroom in Pocklington, the company wanted to expand thier services to offer a wide range of bathrooms and kitchens with an online shop. To show their expansion and development, the brand also underwent a re-development, creating a brand that works inclusively for their main brand and any sub-brands.

Corporate Site: homefituk.co.uk
Online Shop: homefitshop.co.uk

The Home Fit UK brand is well known around Yorkshire via its distinctive, elaborate house icon, paired with its strong blue and orange colour schemes.

The brand had never previously been developed with a "word-based" logo, but had only used the house icon; the re-branding had to be designed to work in most environments with the current house icon, whilst having the flexibility to be created into recognisable sub-brands.

The new brand was developed, allowing the logo to be included in the corporate/main logo, combined with the distinctive orange and deep blues. The online shop (sub-branding) was developed with the same initial logo, but also was seen to incorporate an electric blue to set the sub-brand apart from the original logo.

Extensive brand guidelines were also implemented company-wide, to ensure that the brand remains strong and develops a distinctive recognition with the company.

The company had previously used a single, static HTML based website to represent the services they offer, alongside a basic, unused online shopping area.

It was recommended to develop 2 sites, one to showcase the main brand, acting as a "brochure site" and another site to offer a full online shopping experience for customers across the UK.

The ecommerce solution was developed to ensure customers we're guided through the buying process, being able to quickly and easily browse and buy a full bathroom suite set or kitchen.

A separate, "brochure site"  was re-developed for the main company, showcasing their services and newly built showroom in Yorkshire.

Both website solutions were developed to compliment the new re-branding.

The company wanted to develop a new social media presence for the main brand and online shop.

Creation of social media templates and guidelines allows staff to be able to create  "brand complimenting" posts every time.

In late 2021, the company wanted to look at developing some video advertisements to represent the brands, showing the services the physicla showroom and online shop offered.

"Family-orientated" videos were then developed to show off the brand through the Christmas period. These videos were then developed into the showroom's digital signage solution, which was overhauled with the new branding in the start of 2022.
